Problem: When a user works on mulitple workstations (desktop, laptop, problem-reporting-user's workstation, customer-supplied workstation) it becomes a challenge to find location of a lost checked-out article so it can be checked in. Possible solutions: Add the hostname of the device that the article was checked out to: - perhaps by extending the tool-tip for the green checkmark "Checked Out" *Checked out by: L Da Vinci to: Florence-iMac" - Ditto for the "Everything" Admin page - And add Device (and Checked-out By) to the Sort-By list. - the holding user and device might be displayed under the Owner/Status files (e.g. Held by/On Device) without adding more lines to the display - these, too, are a kind of status field.
