+1. Yes this functionality would be really useful. Any idea of a release date?

I've been able to create tables in Screensteps using HTML. I would love a built-in table editor though!

+1 from me. This is fundamental HTML.. so what is taking so long for such an essential control in the editor.

Does it really take this long to add a fundamental feature like this? OMG, it is such a basic feature that it is hard to imagine why this has not been implemented by now. If we leave Screensteps, this will be the chief reason why. If this system is supposed to be used to write full scale documentation, you MUST have a table editor. Without it, the system is limited to step-based documentation only; not enterprise-level docs.

@Shawn - We know it has been awhile. But it is part of a major rewrite of the article editor that we think you are going to like a lot. The good news is that we will start initial testing of the new editor with a few customers this week so we are getting close. We have already been using it internally for several weeks.

    Niamh -

This is currently in a private beta with a new article editor and seems to be working quite well. If you send a ticket into support then we will ask you a few questions about how you are using ScreenSteps to make sure that the new editor won't interrupt your workflow. But if it seems like a good fit then we could get you set up with the new editor which includes table support.
